The grant was used to purchase 3 mature fruit trees, which were planted in the reclaimed green space opposite numbers 39-43 Cheviot Way Halesowen. The area now includes wildflower areas and hundreds of spring bulbs.

Grants
The Trustees of the James Grove Recreation and Sports Trust offer, at their sole discretion, grant to support local people and organisations. Grants are normally small, around £250, are intended to support local groups and individuals such as:
- To support individuals sporting challenges and development
- Sports clubs
- Conservation projects
- Community initiatives
- Young people with special educational needs or disabilities
